Miniature Twinline Thermoplastic Hose

3000 psi working pressure twin-line hose offers flexibility and pressure.

Dyna-Flex introduces new 701-02T twinline hose to complement our SAE100R7 and SAE100R8 hydraulic hose line. The hose can be coupled with carbon and stainless steel hose ends.

Applications for the above hose could be hose reels, grease lines, pressure water pumps, equipment with pressure switches, pneumatic systems, motion control systems, and hydraulic systems.

Miniature Hose Assemblies, now with Stainless Steel Fittings http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/2009/12/11/miniature-uhose-assemblies/ http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/2009/12/11/miniature-uhose-assemblies/#comments Fri, 11 Dec 2009 19:46:12 +0000 Administrator http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/?p=25 Miniature Hydraulic Hose AssembliesDyna Flex Inc. introduces miniature hose assemblies in both 1/8” I.D. an 3/16” I.D. for fluid transfer of high pressure
hydraulic lines for heavy duty use on hydraulic systems and
lubrication lines. There are now stainless steel fittings as small
as 1/8″ available for use with Dyna Flex Inc 3000 PSI WP hose
for fluid power applications.

Applications include instrumentation, automotive, robotics,
brake and clutch lines, and some marine applications. Use
of smaller I.D. hose benefits the end user with less space
needed to maneuver, increased flexibility on the reel, more
length on a reel, and longer continuous lengths.
711-03 3/16″ I.D.  SAE100R7 black hose has a 3/4″ minimum bend
radius and the 711-02 1/8″ I.D. hose has a 1/2″ minimum bend
radius for maneuverability for tight spaces.

Miniature hose fittings are available in both carbon and stainless steel material. Bend restrictors are available upon request.

Applications are instrumentation, automotive, robotics,
brake and clutch lines, and some marine applications.

Be aware of routing hydraulic hose near an electrical source. If
conditions cannot be avoided, nonconductive hose should be considered. For nonconductive applications, we recommend our series
7110 orange nonconductive SAE100R7 hose. For pneumatic systems,
The 3/16” I.D. SAE100R7 hose has a 3/4” minimum bend radius
and the 1/8” I.D. hose has a 1/2” minimum bend radius for maneuverability for tight spaces.

A Perforated cover allows hose to breathe and prohibits condensation and blistering. We recommend either black 711P pinpricked cover or orange nonconductive 7110P hose. The hose can handle temperatures
from -60 degrees Fahrenheit to -215 degrees Fahrenheit. If your application exceeds the hot end of the temperature range, we recommend that you take a look at Teflon hose. Private hose lay lines and branding is available for minimum factory runs.

Our high abrasion resistant polyurethane cover is stronger than standard rubber covered SAE100R1at and SAE100R2at hose.
Dyna Flex Inc thermoplastic hose has excellent wear, cut, weather, and ozone resistance. It also has a low effusion rate or rate of media escaping hose. Further abrasion resistant options are plastic or zinc plated steel spring guard. Oil resistant sleeving and fire sleeve is available for high temperature conditions.

Hose ends are available in both carbon and stainless steel
material. Bend restrictors are available upon request.
Thermoplastic hose is cleaner than rubber hose resulting in less system maintenance and wear and tear. No oil or rubbers clogs or builds up on valves compromising system effectiveness. Long lengths are available resulting in less drops or waste come inventory time.

Nonconductive vs conductive hose – What is the difference? http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/2009/12/07/nonconductive-vs-conductive-thermoplastichose/ http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/2009/12/07/nonconductive-vs-conductive-thermoplastichose/#comments Mon, 07 Dec 2009 14:01:42 +0000 Administrator http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/?p=12 For some applications it is very important to have nonconductive hose.  For example if you are working close to electric power lines, you don’t want current going through the hose and the fittings. We make a SAE100r7 nonconductive hose which is orange in color and has no carbon black.

Conversely sometimes you may want a hose to be conductive. All hose is conductive. Our orange is less conductive than black because there is no carbon black in it.  With paint spray hose, you want your assembly to be able to conduct a static charge from one fitting, through the hose, to the other fitting.

Paint spray hose has a conductive element in it which makes it conductive.  Here is what nobody tells you. There is little conductivity in the cover you see. Paint spray hose is a good example of conductive hose. 7100 series Airless Paint spray hose usually has a conductive braid or tube that goes through it to help increase it’s conductive.

The static drain is a polymeric material to which carbon black or other conductive filler has been added to achieve the desired level of conductivity. Generally, a hose assembly will be considered sufficiently conductive to dissipate static electric charges if its total resistance is less than 10 8 ohms. While the length of the hose will vary from application to application, ordinary industrial uses usually do not require a hose longer than 30 meters and, therefore, a resistance less than 10 6 ohms per linear 30 centimeters is an acceptable value for most applications.

Sewer Cleaning Hose Cover analyzed for effectiveness. http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/2009/12/01/sewer-cleaning-hose-cover/ http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/2009/12/01/sewer-cleaning-hose-cover/#comments Tue, 01 Dec 2009 18:43:31 +0000 Administrator http://dynaflexinc.com/Thermoplastic-Hose-News/?p=4 Sewer cleaning hose covers look pretty much the same. But there are big differences which are not visually apparent to the human eye. A hose produced by one specific manufacturer may appear to have a thick cover, but this is very misleading.  This is due a large diameter filament “open braid” which this manufacturer uses on top of the normal braid.  This large diameter open braid is used to mechanically lock the cover.

DynaFlex Inc. choose not to attach the cover in this fashion.  Rather, we use a proprietary process which allows us to have a greater distance from the braid to hose outside diameter.  If you measure the distance from the outside diameter of their cover to the open braid, you will get 0.030 to 0.040.  The distance from the O.D. of our SWRO-16 sewer cleaning hose orange 1 inch hose cover to the braid is at least 0.050 inches.  Thus, Dyna-Flex, hose has a greater thickness of cover material protecting the reinforcing braid.
